Maddie and Harrison met at a Saint Patrick’s Day party at Texas Christian University but that’s not even the beginning of the story. The true beginning of the story was at Lake Martin. Maddie invited her whole friend group to her lake house but for one reason or another no one was able to go. The only “friend” that decide to go along was Harrison. They had a wonderful time wakeboarding, exploring the lake, staring at the stars and even wake surfed together on one board. Kelley and Ash were quite surprised that this boy was the one that wanted to go but that’s when they knew that these two “friends” were something more. They had suspected that Maddie and Harrison were sneaking around well before the lake house. Even though they had talked almost everyday while Harrison was in Washington DC for the semester or the fact that Harrison spent a week staying on the couch at Maddie’s apartment; Harrison was always adamant that he knew he liked Maddie after dinner at Kowaliga. They haven’t looked back since that day and know that they have found their person in this world to spend the rest of their lives with one another. And the rest is history.
